H O T H i s t o r y
Since the beginning
H.O.T. was founded by SM music company in Korea. Yoo Young Jin, their manager, & Sm's Lee Soo Man worked hard on their first CD. Two years after the H.O.T auditions were held, their debut song "Junsa Eh Hoo Ae" came out. But the song was taken off the charts because it resembled one of Cypress Hill's song. Candy was out and people were thrilled! The absolute best song by H.O.T made them the most popular group in Korea in just a few weeks! A concert in LA was held, H.O.T worked on their album there. They debuted their 2nd album with "Wolf and Sheep" but the song was taken off the charts due to the cussing. Finally, in October of '98, H.O.T. came out with their third album titled "Ressurection". In this album, they composed their own music and wrote their own songs. Just like their other two albums, H.O.T. rose to the top of the Korean Music charts again! Their recent top hits are "Beet" and "Yul Mat Chuh". In 2000, H.O.T. The fourth was then release soon after. Songs like Tooji and Iyah! made it to the top charts and fans were going crazy for it. Concerts were held in Seoul (major city in Korea) and fans bought tickets soon after when it came out. The concert in the main stadium was a successful one but Hee-Jun had a terrible accident where he fallen off the stage while performing his individual song "Soul," he has recovered then but the incident rest in his mind. Album 5 is soon to come to markets and concerts are being held, hopefully this album will be their best one and not the last one.
