8/1  It's been awhile since we put up NEW news so here it is

H.O.T has signed a deal to be the new "internet i" models for LG - IBM for six months, receiving a guarantee of 3-uk 5000-man won 
(almost $313,500). The TV commercials will air starting from the end of August.

Shinhwa's Andy needed to get 8 stitches on his lip. While taking a shower in the early morning hours of July 31, he slipped and cut open his lip. Due to this injury, he was unable to make it to a KBS FM show that afternoon, and it looks like it will be difficult for him to participate in any of the group's activites for the time being. However, the rest of the members of Shinhwa will continue with their planned schedules until Andy recovers.

Shinhwa will be a regular cast members on SBS's sitcom "Haeng-jin" starting August 15.

Kim Hyun-jung and Jason are no longer in Space A and have been replaced by two Hi-teen members. Kim Hyun-jung wanted to return to her school career at Dong-duk Female University, and Jason has returned to the U.S. due to personal matters. The two new members are Ahn Yoo-jin and Han Young-joon, both 19 years old. The title song of the new album is "Bae-shin-eh gae-jul," and their comeback will be on SBS Inki-gayo on the 30th.

g.o.d directed the music video for the song "god bless TJ" from Jang Hyuk's debut album. For the sake of friendship, god wrote the lyrics for this song and participated in the rap and singing for it too. The music video, which is already finished and will be released next week, includes usual shots of Jang Hyuk and god taken with a 6mm digital camera. It also shows images of Jang Hyuk in San Francisco and Las Vegas shooting a music video, the recording of his and god's duet song, and NG segments from the shooting of the music video with Jun Jihyun, as well as clips of god from their concert and the shooting of their "n016 Nah" commercial.

H.O.T's 5th album is due out in September, with all the songs written by the members. Each member has composed 4 to 5 songs, but the problem is that there isn't one that is good enough for all the members to agree upon as the title song. Producer Yoo Young-jin has therefore ordered(?) all the members to compose new songs, and so they are once again putting all their time and effort into song-making, often staying up till dawn.After closing the deal with Japan's BMG to make an English album, J will be on her way to China and Japan this fall. Starting with her participation in the Korean-Chinese joint concert on August 20 and 21, she is planning to hold a concert in Beijing in October and then make her way to Taiwan in November. She will also be performing in the "Contact 2000 in Tokyo" concert on August 1. The English album, which is being recorded at BMG, will be finished in September and is planned to be released in English markets around the world. It will contain 5 songs from her 2nd album including "Uh-jeh-chuh-rum," "Na-reul neu-kyuh-bwa," and "Confession."

Planning to release her solo album (produced by Lee Sang-min) next month, actress and singer Lee Hye-younghas insured her legs for $1,000,000. If she happens to injure her legs during her activities(?) as a singer, she will received $1 million from Prudential insurance company. [For those of you unfamiliar with her as a singer, she was the female voice in Country KkoKko's 1st album song "Nuh-eh-geh na-reul" and if any of you remember all those old school groups, she was one of the members in the female duet CoCo.]

Beginning on July 24, former Sechskies member Go Jiyong will host the segment "Teenagers' Email" on the internet broadcast station www.chlaw.co.kr.

After appearing on the "Shall We Talk" segment of SBS's "Lee Hong Ryul Show" (to be aired on the 24th at 10:55pm), people are saying that Kim So-yun seems to be in love. When Lee Hong-ryulasked whether or not she's seeing someone right now, she replied by saying that even if she is dating someone, she would like to keep it quiet. And when the subject of marriage came up, she said that she can't do anything about that because her older sister isn't married yet. She picked Jang Dong-gun as the celebrity who she would like to date only and said that it would probably be a headache to be married to someone who is too good-looking. She chose actor Gwon Oh-Joong as her ideal man.

Han's Band is suing their production company, Yedang, because it didn't pay them all the money they were promised in their contract, which ends in May 2003. The lawsuit filed by Han's Band against Yedang has been settled, and their contract has been shortened by 2 years.

Uhm Jung-hwa's 6th album is due out at the end of August. In order to concentrate on final album preparations, she has cancelled her plans to return to China this month.

FinKL will be appearing as the rival company's characters for the new management simulation game "Fast food place." This is the first time a star has been used as a model in a video game. It will be released on July 21.Kim Gunmo, Lim Changjung, Kim Hyunjung, Clon, Baby VOX, Ahn Jaewook, and Lee Seung-hwan, among other top singers, have completed the album entitled "Dream song." It was made to cheer on the Korean teams that will take part in international events, beginning with the 2000 Olympic games taking place in Sydney, Australia this September. In addition to those top singers, actors and songwriters, such as Lee Soo-young, Hong Kyung-in, and Park Sang-myun have also participated in this project. The main cheer song is "Nul wee-han no-rae" ("A song for you"), written by Kim Tae-hee and composed by Joo Young-hoon, and the parts are sung by 15 singers/groups. Other songs included in the album are Kim Gunmo's "To(?) Face," Clon's "Fast Mover," and Baby VOX's "Get Up." Kim Minjong, Baek Jiyoung, god, and Chae Jung-an also donated songs. It is a double album which includes the music video for "Nul wee-han no-rae."

7/15 H.O.T's Comebak Concert is Canceled.
    H.O.T has given up their concert at the Chamsil Olympic Stadium to for the World Cup Soccer Event,
and are post-poning it.  (This was taken from Soompi.com) Also there's a rumor going around that 
H.o.T's movie "Age of Peace" is only 28 minute long! (watsup with dat??)  Hopefully that 
rumor is untrue...

    This product came out today and it was said that H.O.T members didnt

They expected to have come back Concert between August 11-15 but b/c they have some problems with the places...it has delay to some other they...they haven't announced that exact date yet.

Right now, they are working pretty hard in their studios recording and practicing their new album which is what we waited for so long...

~Few days ago... H.O.T was performing 'Age of Peace'...Tony wasn't well even b4 the performance... then he actually...had faint...everyone is worrying about his health. Some fans are making some j/k that he plays with Hyuk too much...that is why...or they are in fight so he worried too much...kinda gay dunt ya think...EWE
Anyways... lets just pray for his health...he actually look tired on photos too...

~H.o.T is having concert on August 15th which is "Gwang bok jur" in korea. The main theme for this concert is to celebrate the South and North Korea's future and becoming one.
They will perform their new songs by that time.
the place it takes is "Seoul, Jam sil che yuk gwa"

~SM production has announced the date for H.O.T's 5th album. They haven't got the exact date for it but it is someday in August!!!
The songs will be made by Yu Young Jin and the H.O.T members.!!!
H.O.T is also busy working on "age of peace" movie's theme song.

~ The legendary Sechs Kies announced their break-up on May 18, 2000 at a press conference in Seoul. Rumors surfaced that Jekkie leader Eun JiWon and main vocal Kang SungHoon will form a duet under Dae Sung Prod., the label Sechs Kies was formerly signed under, and other members Lee JaeJin and Kim JaeDuc will join DSP as coreographers. Jekkie co-vocal Go JiYong expressed an interest in pursuing acting, and backup vocal Jang SuWon is rumored to prefer to step out of the spotlight for awhile, and continue schooling. Sechs Kies' last performance as a whole group will be at the Dream Concert, scheduled for later this year.

~ A handful of Korean-American singers, Drunken Tiger's Tiger JK, and Uptown Family's Carlos, Lil John, Steve, and Tasha Yoon, were arrested last week for possesion of drugs in Seoul. Korean police evidently had decided to create stricter laws on drug control, and started with the Korean-American singers. Since the five singers are American citizens, it was decided they will be tried in the U.S under American law. Presently they are in a Korean jail awaiting flights back to California.

~ ShinHwa released their third album Only One on May 26, 2000. The title song will most likely be performed on Music Camp that Saturday. The group's third musical effort proved the six members can handle any style of music, from rock or pop, to dance or ballad, all styles featured on the album. ~ There's rumors that Diva will be coming out with a fourth album soon but carrying one slight change -- *without* Chae Rina. (*Yuri)

~ Rumors are flying that H.O.T's Moon HeeJun and Sechs Kies' Eun JiWon will quit after their groups' fifth albums, due out next summer, because of the requirements of Korean men to join the army in their twentie's. (*Yuri)

~ The month of March, 2000 is expecting to host the second album of 1TYM and the third album of ShinHwa (*Yuri)

~ Yoo SeungJun is scheduled to perform on an American movie soundtrack (OST) for the feature film "The Replacement" starring Keanu Reeves. Warner Music Korea sent clips of Yoo SeungJun to Warner Music Hong Kong and New York, who were impressed and signed him on for the project. "The Replacement" is due sometime in the summer of this year. (*blue angel's cloud)

~ H.O.T has been banned from performing on sbs and kbs networks in korea. it apparently has something to do with the "korean pride" plagiarism ordeal, and their style of clothing. h.o.t can still perform on mbc, though. (*hot crew)

~ SES is making their 3rd album comeback soon. they too were also banned from kbs for their extremely long, extremely yellow hair. the new cd is called "love" and is setup alot like the hot cd, with lots of talk. ...o yea..dunt u guys think that S.E.S. are getting uglier?? its like they looked HELLA good when they performed "Cuz im ure girl" but now they look .........OOUGLIE...they should change their hair back to the way they use to be in the old days.

~ moon hee jun from h.o.t and kan miyoun from baby vox competed with their respective groups on a recent episode of SBS Inki Gayo. at the end of the episode, when they're about to announce the winner, 2 cameras zoomed in on heejun and miyoun only. kinda weird, if you ask me.

~ NRG has recently made their comeback on SBS Inki Gayo. their new sond "face" is steadily climing the charts. a different thing you might notice is two of the members, myunghoon and sungjin, are missing. where are they? i'll tell you when i know
